Welcome back to RAPA Drama 2014/2015!
Last year was a wonderful, fun year. Feis Dhun Dealgain was again a huge success with amazing performances by all the participants. In particular the Movement to Music category was, in the Junior section, super fun and in the Senior section very moving. I commend the commitment of all the students, they worked so hard to make it an unforgettable competition. Many in the audience and indeed the judges, were moved to tears. It was lovely for the students that more friends and family attended the Festival this year. It is so important to support your children, as performance such as the Feis, is an important milestone in the development of personal and communication skills, which are of so much real value in later life.
The drama year seems to take on a life of its own as soon as September steps in. This year we have a Musical performance in the Tain Theatre. Don’t forget to get your tickets as soon as they are available. The exams are taking place before Christmas, which is a new venture – let’s see how that goes!- The Feis is in March. Please take note of the important dates section in this leaflet. I will send notes for any changes to dates etc, which may crop up.
Feis Dhun Dealgain
Next year Feis Dhun Dealgain, 2015 will take place on the 14th & 15th March.
Exams will take place week beginning 1st December 2014, this has yet to be confirmed. I am changing it around again this year to ease the pressure on students.
